THE ELEGANT DEAD
RORY STORY & SCREEN

In America's most haunted city, a charming ghost guide and his newly-dead companion lead viewers through New Orleans' darkest supernatural secrets—from vampire enclaves to cursed cemeteries, from Voodoo priestesses and elegant spirits trapped in their own tragic deaths. Beauty and terror coexist in a city where the dead outnumber the living. Opening yourself to spirits means risking - and discovering - everything.

The film is co-directed by Melissa Farley and supported by Glow Frame Initiative apprentices. Rory made her directorial debut in The Elegant Dead short film, which she also wrote and produced. The script is inspired by the stories found in Rory's book, co-authored by Rosary O'Neill, "The Haunted Guide to New Orleans" and is currently being pitched for development into a vertical show series.

Starring Maria Soccor, Barret O'Brien, Melissa Farley, Greg Minor, Sherri Eakin, and Jeremy Sande. Cinematography by Shannon Dia and Bob Foster. Filmed in New Orleans and Phoenix.
